On the occasion of the European Commission’s Crime Fighting Week and the visit of former President H.E. Mr. Kgalema Petrus Motlanthe of the Republic of South Africa, President H.E. Mr. Joaquim Alberto Chissano of the Republic of Mozambique, and Professor Quarraisha Abdool Karim.

Her Excellency Ambassador Ms. Tokozile Xasa, South African Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union, delivered a warm welcoming speech to the delegation and distinguished guests. This was followed by speeches from former President H.E. Mr. Kgalema Petrus Motlanthe and Ms. Maria Rosa Sabbatelli from the European Commission.

The series of welcoming speeches set the tone for the evening and were succeeded by a cocktail reception, which was attended by numerous diplomats, VIPs, and business representatives, providing a valuable opportunity for networking and discussion among the attendees.
